Uhrenholt's history reaches back to 1978 when Frank Uhrenholt founded the company. The Uhrenholt name and logo is more than simply a familiar logo. It is the expectations that people have of the company - towards its products and services, and the accountability that Uhrenholt feels towards our customers and consumers around the world.
The name and logo is a guarantee of quality and service.
When Frank Uhrenholt founded the company and created the ship logo, he folded a paper ship from a newspaper page and painted the vessel red and white. He was inspired by the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, who went to conquer the world.
To visualise the modern, international food company that Uhrenholt has become, and the merger with Emborg Foods, a new logo was developed in 2009.
The ship has been simplified and is mirrored in the water. The typography used for the Uhrenholt name and the colour dark blue, supports and communicate the platform of the company as an important and trusthworthy, international company.
